This ring was created from the desire to honor the true anatomy of the seahorse, preserving the irregular surface that makes it one of the Mediterranean’s most distinctive creatures. The 18kt yellow gold is shaped to follow the natural volumes of the body, forming a dense, enveloping structure that wraps around the finger with presence and character.

The belly and head are illuminated by a pavé of diamonds that captures the light and releases it in vibrant reflections, recalling the shimmer of sunlight on the golden sands of shallow waters. On the reverse, an openwork design reveals a pattern of organic scrolls, lightening the structure and allowing glimpses of the skin beneath, giving the jewel a sense of movement and life.

I am Massimo Izzo, born in Messina in 1966. From an early age I felt a deep connection with my land and its traditions.

The beauty of nature and the millennia-old stories of Mediterranean mythology inspired me from early on, prompting me to create jewelry that was not mere accessories, but works rich in meaning.
