"Here, inside Bergdorf Goodman, my jewelry tells the story of who I am and where I come from, blending Mediterranean tradition with the timeless elegance of New York."

Mythos Collection

Designed for Bergdorf Goodman - November 2025

The Mythos Collection, created by Massimo Izzo exclusively for Bergdorf Goodman, is rooted in a fertile ground of history, myth, and art: Ancient Greece, of which Siracusa - the city where this collection was conceived and crafted - was one of the beating hearts

The Faces of Eternity

In ancient Greece, every face told an emotion.
Masks revealed the soul and coins preserved the memory of the gods.

The Mythos collection is born from this duality:
Representation and Divinity,
the Stage and the Myth,
Life and the Eternal.

Myth was the language through which the Greeks interpreted the world. In the Mythos collection, figures such as Arethusa, Nereus, and Doris, together with the ancient coinage of Syracuse, become jewels — fragments of history and symbols of beauty, rebirth, and mystery.

The Masks of Theater

In ancient Greco-Roman theater, masks were more than stage props — they revealed emotions, amplified voices, and transformed actors into universal figures, carrying forward the expressive power of their origins.

In the Mythos collection, Massimo Izzo reinterprets these timeless symbols as modern talismans — jewels that preserve the soul of ancient drama while resonating with a contemporary spirit.

With Mythos, Massimo Izzo bridges the grandeur of Ancient Greece and modernity: each jewel becomes an architecture of meaning and beauty, created for Bergdorf Goodman—a contemporary temple of luxury, where myth, art, and history meet once more.

Where It All Began

June, July and August 2025

The first collaboration with Bergdorf Goodman was a moment of great significance. Displaying my creations in one of the world’s most prestigious spaces was a unique experience, one that brought together the essence of my Sicily and the vibrant energy of New York.

Amid display cases that highlighted every detail and lighting designed to enhance each form, this encounter with the public created a dialogue between my vision of jewelry and those who admired it, leaving an unforgettable memory of gratitude and joy.

The Masterpieces

Cut no Cut collection

Bracelet

18kt yellow gold, aquamarine,
brilliant-cut diamonds

This creation tells the love story
between a seahorse and an octopus.
Two creatures so different: one fra
gile, delicate, almost shy; the other
mysterious, changeable, and pro
tective. A piece that celebrates union
and harmony between opposites,
and the beauty that emerges in the
most unexpected places

Dancing Moray Collection

Necklace

Orange Morganite, FVS Brilliant-Cut
Diamonds, 18kt Yellow Gold, 18kt
White Gold, Natural Sciacca Coral

Inspired by the graceful movements
of the moray eel, this one-of-a-kind
creation translates its fluid dance
among corals into sculptural lines
and refined details. The “Dancing
Morays” Collection celebrates
strength, elegance, and the timeless
beauty of the sea through masterful
craftsmanship

Classic Collection

Earrings

Moorish Coral (Japan), FVS Brilliant-Cut
Diamonds, 18kt White Gold.

These earrings are inspired by the
movements of the sea breeze as it
shapes the coastline. The curves
recall the natural patterns drawn on
the sand, evoking waves and spirals
of light. A design that captures the
essence of the sea and transforms it
into a timeless jewel, carrying with
it not only the beauty of nature but
also the memory it leaves behind.

Meeting Linda, the elegant soul and refined mind behind Bergdorf Goodman, was a profound honour.

Her vision, her sensitivity and her way of embracing my art made me feel at home, even thousands of miles away from my Sicily.

Sharing this moment with her, among my creations, is a memory I will carry with me.

With gratitude and sincere esteem.

“Myth is not a memory of the past, but a language through which beauty continues to speak.”
